If there was any doubt that Ryan Reynolds is a true Canadian through and through, the “Deadpool” star proved he bleeds maple syrup with a recent tweet in which he throws his support behind the growing movement to see Tragically Hip front man Gord Downie awarded the Order of Canada.

Tweeting a link to a Facebook page that’s spearheading the — appropriately titled Gord Downie for the Order of Canada Honour — Reynolds adds his own twist by suggesting that not only should Downie be given the prestigious honour, but so should the rest of the band.
