Greetings! Welcome to another installment of This Week In Music Videos, a weekly feature where we profile advances in molecular biology um… well, the week in music videos. The biggest, boldest and brightest clips of the past seven days are all here for your viewing pleasure.

Let’s get right to it, shall we?

Nicki Minaj – Pills N Potions (NSFW Language) There’s a bit in this clip where Nicki appears to be crying a flood of aluminum foil tears. If you see an emotionally distraught Nicki Minaj at your next cookout, be sure to have her sob over anything you’d like saved to eat at a later date. (Note: This video may have been brought to you by DRUGS.)

The Vamps featuring Demi Lovato – Somebody To You Fun Fact: The Vamps are not actually undead creatures that feast off the blood and essence of the living. (That’s the record label’s job, wakka wakka.) That said, please consult a doctor if any of these English pop-rockers tear into your flesh with their sharp fangs or infectious hooks.

Mastodon – High Road The path to LARP glory is wrought with peril and asthma triggers. Watch this awesome new clip from Mastodon and train wisely.

The Roots featuring Patty Crash – Never (NSFW Language) Do you like bleak videos? “Never”; ticks that box with authority. This freaky promo from The Roots offers up an avalanche of unsettling images, plunking the viewer into a vision of South Central Los Angeles in a state of mutation and despair.

Beta Frontiers – Undone Things Toronto noise crafter Beta Frontiers (government name: Michael Butler) has trotted out an aerobic hallucination of a new video this week. It’s almost as if someone filmed a K-Tel video editor’s recurring nightmare.

Tove Stryke – Even If I’m Loud It Doesn’t Mean I’m Talking To You Speaking of retro-themed clips, Tove Stryke’s amazing new track is accompanied by a video where the Swedish singer appears to be trapped inside an old screensaver. BEWARE FLYING TOASTERS, TOVE!

Nicole Scherzinger – Your Love Who do we contact in America about a beach on fire? Does Smokey the Bear have jurisdiction over such things or is it better if we phone the United States Coast Guard?

We’re closing up shop for this week’s edition of TWIMV, but we’d like to remind you (y’know, because we’re close personal internet buds) to keep your browser locked to ET Canada for daily music (and music video) coverage.

Play us out, Grum!
