The late Christina Grimmie charms in the first trailer for the romantic comedy “The Matchbreaker”.
We’ve all heard of a matchmaker, now get ready to meet “The Matchbreaker” – a young man whose main goal is to put an end to relationships at the request of disapproving parents. Idealistic and romantic, Ethan (Wesley Elder) is tasked with breaking up Emily’s (Grimmie) relationship, only to discover the talented singer is the unrequited love of his childhood.
Sadly, “The Matchbreaker” is Grimmie’s first and only movie role, filmed before she was tragically gunned down in June. The sweet comedy also features music by Grimmie, whose character is a lounge singer.
