Get ready to hit the dance floor for the 23rd season of “Dancing With the Stars”, which unveiled its cast during this morning’s “Good Morning America”.
Along with eight previously announced contestants (including Amber Rose, former “Taxi” star Marilu Henner and Maureen McCormick of “The Brady Bunch” fame), the new season will also include politician Rick Perry and disgraced Olympian Ryan Lochte, who blamed the media for overblowing his false reporting of being robbed at gunpoint. Complaining during the announcement that the media took things “to a whole new level,” Lochte said he “wants to put this behind” him and “move forward,” something he believes “the rest of the world wants this too.”
In addition, Julianne Hough will be returning as a judge, while brother Derek Hough will be returning as a dancer, as will Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
