The standoff between Chris Brown and police has taken a far more serious turn — this following a 911 call claiming that Brown had threatened a woman with a gun.
Brown has now officially been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, multiple sources report, after agreeing to step out of his home in accordance with a warrant.
The early stages of the alleged incident occurred early Tuesday morning “in a home” after an argument broke out between the pair. The female subsequently called the police, and a report was filed.
According to TMZ, Brown was in his home with several friends, including Ray J, when “uninvited guests” showed up.
While one of the individuals was invited, the two other women accompanying him were not. After requesting the women to leave the premises, one of the female guests called the police and claimed Brown had pulled a gun on her.
Someone who was inside the home insists that Brown was sleeping the entire time.
Sources tell TMZ that when Ray J left Brown’s home and made it to the base of the driveway, police “handcuffed him and seized his BMW.” After checking his ID, officers let him go and kept his car as evidence.

The Los Angeles Police Department was looking to obtain a search warrant. Officers were looking to see if a gun inside the home matches the description given by the woman making the claim.
Brown, who was still inside his home when police arrived, took to Instagram slamming the police and the claims made against him in a NSFW rant. “So I’m asleep half the damn night. I just wake up [with] all of these motherf***ing helicopter choppers is around. Police out there at the gate…” he said in one of three videos. “I stay out of the way, take care of my daughter, do work. I don’t need trifling bitches, whatever the f*** it is…I’m way too tired to be dealing with this bulls***.”
“I ain’t did s***. I ain’t gonna do s***…Y’all gonna stop playing with like I’m the villain out here, like I’m going crazy. I’m not!” he continued. “When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you are gonna walk right up in here and you’re gonna see nothing. Y’all the worst gang in the world — the police.”
Police are now in possession of “at least one gun, other weapons and drugs” from Brown’s home after he threw a duffel out the window.
The LAPD have been at the “Loyal” singer’s home since three in the morning.
