Drake Bell Pleads No Contest To DUI Charges, Sentenced To 4 Years Probation And 4 Days In Jail

Drake Bell appeared in court Friday to plead no contest to charges of driving under the influence after the former Nickelodeon star was arrested in December 2015.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Bell, 30, entered the plea to one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol within 10 years of another DUI offense (Bell was previously convicted of driving under the influence back in 2010).

After entering the plea, Bell was sentenced to four years summary probation and four days in county jail.

“The defendant personally appeared to enter the plea and was immediately remanded into custody to begin serving his 96-hour sentence,” notes the DA’s Office, which adds that Bell was also ordered to complete an alcohol program. “The defendant was warned that he could be charged with murder if he commits any future DUIs which result in someone’s death.”
