A star-studded ensemble shines in the inspirational trailer for “Collateral Beauty”.
Will Smith stars as a once-successful and vivacious businessman who slips into a deep depression following a family tragedy. His friends, played by Kate Winslet, Edward Norton, and Michael Pena, grow worried when Smith’s character begins writing letters to objects and themes like love, death, and time. Then, the impossible happens: Love, Death, and Time show up in a very real and physical form.

Borrowing a page from “A Christmas Carol” or “It’s A Wonderful Life”, Smith’s character learns how to live again from the personifications of complex ideas like Love (Keira Knightley), Death (Helen Mirren), and Time (Jacob Latimore), who take him on an emotional and spiritual journey.
