Before we see Ben Affleck don the iconic cowl as the Dark Knight, the actor-director will be blasting his way through Prohibition-era Florida in his latest, “Live By Night”.
Affleck is director and star of the period drama, in which he plays Joe Coughlin, the black-sheep son of a police captain whose involvement in organized crime in Boston hits a snag when he ticks off a mob boss, sending him on the run to Florida.

Once Joe hits Tampa, however, he dives right into the rum-running criminal underworld, which involves fiery shootouts, high-octane car chases, violent fistfights and sexy femme fatales, with Affleck co-starring with Elle Fanning, Brendan Gleeson, Chris Messina, Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller, Chris Cooper and Scott Eastwood.
