Mariah Uses Photoshop To Revamp Old Photo For New Single Cover Art

Mariah Carey has been busted! The singer released the artwork for her “You Don’t Know What to Do” single this weekend and was quickly called out for revamping an old image with Photoshop.

Fans quickly noticed that the image cover art from her “Me. I Am Mariah”; album cover had been replaced with a forward-facing angle of her face.

After receiving a stream of complaints, Mariah took to Twitter to announce that the decision was certainly not hers. “That definitely was NOT my selection for the cover… ugh!” she tweeted on Saturday.

Looking to make it up to fans, the singer used the social network to ask for new artwork suggestions, writing, “Yes, I would love for you to send me your art for #YDKWTD (’cause at this point IDKWTD! lol.”

Mariah has since been trying to redeem herself by retweeting fan submissions to her Twitter account.

Here’s to hoping the music veteran doesn’t make the same mistake again.
