After being named the Model of the Year by both GQ and the Daily Front Row, Bella Hadid came to a tumble on Wednesday while walking in the Michael Kors Spring 2017 runway show during New York Fashion Week.

As fellow model friends, Kendall Jenner and Joan Smalls managed to walk the runway with ease, Gigi Hadid’s younger sister, who sported a glittering black dress with chiffon sleeves and six-inch velvet heels, fell face-down on the runway in front of celebrity onlookers, including Emily Blunt and Sienna Miller.
In true model fashion, however, the Dior Makeup brand ambassador and girlfriend of The Weeknd smiled, picking herself up off the runway and continuing her runway walk effortlessly. According to a source from Us Weekly, the rising model’s fall went overlooked by many attendees because of the shape of the runway.

One viewer said, “I was there and didn’t see her fall.” Adding, “Audience members faced all different directions for the show, and no one had any sort of audible reaction when she fell.”
Hadid later brushed off the fall, posting a video of her walk to Instagram with the caption, “Michael Kors today. Thank you so much for having me in the show.”
