Don’t get Nicola Peltz wrong: she’s absolutely thrilled to be co-starring in Transformers: Age of Extinction, which hits theatres on Friday. But the stunning 19-year-old admits there are certain battle wounds that come with appearing in a Michael Bay blockbuster.
In a new piece for VioletGrey.com, Nicola — interviewed by former Transformers star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley — says the process was equal parts thrilling and exhausting. “I was so excited,”; Nicola explains, “even though [Michael Bay] warned me that it would be like no other movie set and that it would be really fast-moving and hard. I didn’t realize how much running went into it!”;
She adds, “I can’t even wear certain open-toed heels now. [My feet] look so scary.”;
As for the maelstrom of industry attention heading her way, Nicola seems to have the right temperament. “I don’t know what’s coming,”; she admits, “but I think it’s best to just ignore it as much as possible. I have specific ideas about what movie roles I’d love to get next and I’m being really picky about it.”;
