Green Day have canceled their Toronto show, and postponed three others after an illness.
The band addressed the cancellation and postponed shows, apologizing for the inconvenience: “We’re so sad to announce we have to postpone three shows and cancel Toronto,. Many of us have been battling this infection for days on end to be ready, and it just got the best of us.”
Green Day was set to perform at the World Cup of Hockey Fan Village in Toronto, but will not be rescheduling the performance. Shows that will be rescheduled are their St. Louis, Chicago and Detroit dates.
The band’s 12th studio album, “Revolution Radio”, drops on October 7. The band’s show in Toronto was originally scheduled for September 23.
