In a Today Show exclusive, Matt Lauer went to London for a sit-down with Pippa Middleton, the first time the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister has ever granted a television interview.
In the candid discussion, Pippa talks about what it’s like to be the sibling of one of the world’s most famous women, admitting it’s taken some time to get use to being “publicly bullied”; in the press.
Speaking about the royal wedding, Pippa reveals that she viewed it more as a “family wedding,”; and “didn’t realize the scale of it until afterwards. We really saw it as a family getting together and doing their bit. To me, it was just performing in front of a lot of people, just not the world. It was surreal!”;
In addition, Pippa discusses the “embarrassing”; fallout from her her sexy bridesmaid dress, which she says was “completely unexpected. The plan was not for it to be a significant dress.”;
In fact, Pippa reveals she’s keeping the iconic gown hidden. “It’s in my wardrobe at home,”; she tells Matt. “I haven’t worn it since — I think I’ll just keep it there.”;
The second part of Pippa’s interview air tomorrow, Tuesday, July 1, on The Today Show.
