WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel And Susan Sarandon Imitate ‘Thelma & Louise’ Selfie

During Susan Sarandon’s Wednesday-night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host noted that the Oscar-winning actress made movie history when she and co-star Geena Davis took what is possibly the first-ever selfie in a movie.

“It was one of the first selfies, really, ever depicted in a film,”; said Jimmy, and Susan agreed: “We invented that, really, at that moment.”;

This gave Jimmy an idea. Pulling out a pair of sunglasses, a scarf, a wig and other props, he explained he “thought it would be fun if we could recreate that. I want to do a modern version of that photograph, with an iPhone.”;

As you can see by the video, the end result is both faithful to the original and — given Jimmy’s unattractive “Thelma”; — kind of disturbing:
