Congratulations to country star Cam and Adam Weaver, who tied the knot yesterday in an intimate ceremony in Joshua Tree, California, with the “Burning House” singer’s rep confirming the nuptials to People.
According to People, the bride selected a Jenny Packham gown for her wedding day (“It reminds me of a dress from the ’30s and I love things from the ’30s,” she said), with Cam walking down the aisle as a mariachi band playing “Bésame Mucho” in front of 140 guests.
The couple’s first dance was to Miranda Lambert’s “Oklahoma Sky” (the song reportedly reminds the couple of a particularly memorable date on the California coast). “It’s just one of the most beautiful songs,” shared Cam. “It has such an atmosphere to it. It just pulls you in and both of us loved it.”
While the biggest moment from the wedding undoubtedly took place at the altar, “the second biggest moment is the arrival of the churro,” Cam joked of the Mexican cuisine served at the wedding, adding: “Adam and I are obsessed with churros.”
The couple are planning to honeymoon in Bali and Tokyo, and Cam says she’s looking forward to their new life together. “It’s just fun saying someone’s your husband!” she told People. “I’m excited for our life together, encouraging each other and getting more dogs.”
