When Lil Wayne was sent to NYC’s Riker’s Island jail back in 2010 to serve an eight-month sentence on gun charges, the rapper says he was devastated by close friend Drake.
What did Drake do that was so hurtful? How about sleeping with Lil Wayne’s girlfriend, which Wayne describes in his new prison memoir “Gone ‘Til November” as “the absolute worst thing I could have found out.”
As Lil Wayne writes in the upcoming tome, reports The New York Post‘s “Page Six” column, “Drizzy came to see me, he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s true.’ Damn! This is the type of s*** a man never wants to find out while he is locked up.”
Given Lil Wayne’s presence at Drake’s Summer Sixteen tour, it’s safe to say the pals have buried the hatchet since that unfortunate incident.
However, Lil Wayne admits he kept himself plenty busy during his incarceration, including officiating a gay wedding between inmates and revealing that two female officers were suspended for “visiting him,” while his plans for an underwear-free girlfriend to visit in order to “do a ‘Basic Instinct'” didn’t go as planned because “they have extensive-ass searches before you come in here, so they made her put on a pair of boxers because they knew she didn’t have on panties. Damn!”
Lil Wayne’s “Gone ‘Til November” will hit bookstores on Oct. 11.
