Vancouver indie pop vendors BESTiE seem like good travel pals. They come equipped with tunes, convenient Spanish subtitles and look remarkably at ease chilling out by the pool. Those stellar traits are put to good use in the band’s freshly unveiled promo for “Sriracha.”;
ET Canada (that’s us!) has the privilege of debuting BESTiE’s brand new video, a slice of sunny visual accompaniment that was shot in Colombia. In addition to being a cool place to shoot a promo, filming the clip in Colombia allowed drummer Daniel Ruiz the opportunity to return to his home country for a spell.
According to frontman Tristan Orchard, the content in the clip was something they partially hashed out on the fly.
“We didn’t have any of the video figured out other than a rough idea for a coming of age first kiss, but booked our flights a week before SXSW, casting people we met on the street and improvising and drinking a lot of Aguardiente.“
We have BESTiE’s “Sriracha”; video below for your viewing pleasure. Their debut album, No Bad Days, is now available.
