Benedict Cumberbatch Interviews Tom Hiddleston, Refuses To Ask About Taylor Swift

Yes, all your fangirl dreams have come true.

BFFs Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston shoot the s**t in a new interview for Interview magazine and talk about things mates would, like Chris Hemsworth, dating a “certain someone” and their fears.

Getting very candid about his time back on set of “Thor: Ragnarok”, Hiddleston explains the best thing about the new film.

“The best thing, honestly, is working with Chris again,” he tells Cumberbatch. “I first met him in Kenneth Branagh’s house in England in 2009. We were mere children, in the very beginning of our acting journeys,” he adds.

“It’s been extraordinary to share this ride with him – this mad journey with Marvel,” Tom continues.

And just as you might have guessed, stepping into the role of Loki comes a close second: “I genuinely enjoy [playing Loki]. I think I wouldn’t do it if the writing wasn’t so good, if I wasn’t being asked to do different things with the character.”

Hopefully fans will get to see Hiddleston and Cumberbatch interact on the big screen when Doctor Strange takes his turn in the Marvel Comic Universe spotlight, but unfortunately we’ll have to wait for another interview to confirm that.

Unfortunately, something else Cumberbatch failed to get, or even ask, is about his friend’s time dating a “certain someone” that goes by the name of Taylor Swift.

“I just want to say that I’m not going to ask questions about my friend’s personal life just because there are unsolicited photographs of him and a certain someone, in a relationship or together,” Cumberbatch says. “So that door is closed, dear reader.”

But while we’re on the topic of looking at things that happened in the past, Hiddleston divulges his biggest fear is “regret.”

“I fear looking back and wishing I had done things I hadn’t,” he answers.
