During tonight’s performance at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour brought a very special guest onstage to sing — albeit one we usually don’t associate with his vocal skills: Benedict Cumberbatch.
Benedict joined Gilmour and his band onstage for the encore, handling lead vocals on a few verses of the 1979 hit from the band’s iconic double album “The Wall”.

“Who knew he could sing?” Gilmour asked the audience as the “Sherlock” star took a bow to huge applause before making a quick exit offstage.
