Former Felicity star Keri Russell dropped Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday to discuss her role in the new Planet of the Apes movie, and she revealed that it was actually her role on the teen drama that led to her casting in the new sequel, as Apes director Matt Reeves worked with J.J. Abrams on Felicity).
The conversation soon turned to yesterday’s Emmy nominations, and the fact that Keri did not receive one despite her critically acclaimed performance in the Soviet spy drama The Americans.
“You can’t say it,”; said Seth, “but I can say it: You got hosed today, you should have got nominated for an Emmy.”;
