She just won her first Emmy and has been nominated for her many critically acclaimed performances, but actress Sarah Paulson also has a hidden talent! The 41-year-old “American Horror Story” star knows every word to Salt-N-Pepa’s 1993 hit “Shoop.”
“Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon decided to take advantage of that fact on Thursday night when Paulson visited his show.
“I hate putting people on the spot,” he began.
“Oh, but you’re going to,” Paulson shot back, laughing.
When he revealed that he knew about her special “Shoop” skills, she declared, “You’re not going to make me do this right now!”
But Paulson’s embarrassment was short-lived as she grabbed the mic and immediately broke into the girl group’s famous rap as The Roots played in the background.
Giving the song some of her own jazzy swagger, Paulson effortlessly rapped as Fallon danced behind her. She made it all the way to the popular chorus without hesitation. Watch the video above to see the entire performance!
