One Toronto teen has figured out a unique way to raise money for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research by strapping himself into a straitjacket for two full weeks.

Mark Correia, 18, is a Toronto-based comedy performer and stage magician who’ll be spending the longest amount of recorded time ever in a straitjacket in order to serve as a sort of living demonstration of the physical restrictions faced every day by people living with Parkinson’s.

You can read more about Mark’s unusual fundraising efforts on the foundation’s website. Meanwhile, Mark explains why he’s decided to strap himself down on his own site.
