HBO Films has obtained the rights to All The Way, the Tony Award-winning play starring Bryan Cranston as President Lyndon Johnson.
The HBO adaptation will chronicle Johnson’s turbulent first year in office, from his oath following President Kennedy’s assassination to his controversial support of the Vietnam war.
Cranston made his Broadway debut in the role, winning critical raves and numerous awards, including a Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theater World Award.
