UPDATE: True Blood“s Deborah Ann Woll will also be joining the Netflix Daredevil series. The actress, who played vampire Jessica on the HBO hit, will play Karen Page, love interest for blind lawyer Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil (Boardwalk Empire“s Charlie Cox).

When it comes to Vincent D’Onofrio, there’s one thing we can all agree on: the soft-spoken actor cuts a menacing figure. And it appears he’s about to put that burly frame to good use.
“Marvel has announced the 54-year-old Law & Order star will join the cast of the upcoming Netflix series, Daredevil. His role: Wilson Fisk — a.k.a. Kingpin — a business magnate who goes head to head with everyone’s favourite blind superhero.
“We’re incredibly proud to have an actor with the gravitas and versatility of Vincent joining Daredevil in such an integral role,” says Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. “Wilson Fisk is an iconic villain whose cunning and power make him the dangerous equal of our hero.”
The hotly anticipated series is slated to debut on Netflix in 2015.
