Last week, Us Weekly reported that Matthew Perry is such an extreme Batman fan that he actually has a room in his home devoted entirely to the Caped Crusader — but is it true?

That’s what Jimmy Kimmel wanted to know when the “Odd Couple” star dropped by his late-night talk show on Wednesday, and Perry fessed up.

“That’s true,” he told Kimmel. “I’ve had the Batman room, sir, for about three years — four years.”

Perry explained that he has a tough time getting to sleep, which contributes to his collecting. “And I’m an insomniac, so in the middle of the night, I just go on eBay and buy all this Batman stuff and just throw it in a room,” he said. “But, I want to point out, it’s not dorky. It’s actually a cool Batman room.”

In fact, Perry even brought along a photo of his personal “batcave,” which includes action figures, portraits, books, masks and all manner of Dark Knight memorabilia.

“This is how you are spending that ‘Friends’ money?” Kimmel quipped. Watch:
