While Kim Kardashian’s robbed-at-gunpoint Paris ordeal continues to make headlines around the world, over in France it’s already ripe for parody, and resulted in an insane live-TV moment that resulted in what some viewers are describing as an on-the-air sexual assault.

The incident took place, according to Buzzfeed, during a segment hosted by French TV presenter Cyril Hanouna during his attempt to remain live on the air for 35 consecutive hours.

In the bit, show panellist Jean-Michel Maire played a game in which he was a locksmith who had to rescue a woman named Soraya in a parody of Kim Kardashian’s robbery, with Soraya tied up in a bathtub.

After Maire successfully freed the woman, Hanouna said that Maire deserved a kiss from Soraya for freeing her, and asks her if she’s excited about getting a kiss. Her answer: “Non.”

As Buzzfeed reports, Maire says that he thinks she actually said “Oui,” to which she firmly states that she doesn’t want the dude to kiss her.

Hanouna urges Maire to go for it, telling him: “Just a little peck on the cheek.” Maire, however, takes things far further by leaning in for a kiss, and instead kisses her on one of her breasts.

Horrified viewers quickly took to Twitter to express their disgust, with such comments as, “Sexual assault live on the show of this a**hole Hanouna” and “It’s called sexual assault.”

Buzzfeed reached out to the network, C8, for comment, with a spokesperson noting that Hanouna asked Maire to apologize immediately following the incident.

Meanwhile, the Superior Council of Audiovisual (CSA), the French government organization regulating TV and radio, issued a tweet announcing it had received more than 250 complaints about the incident, and is currently investigating the broadcast.
