Let there be no doubt that Nelly Furtado can put a singularly unique spin on any song, which the Canadian songstress has proven once again with the release of a stunning cover of “Too Good”, a collaboration between Drake and Rihanna from the former’s mega-hit album “Views”.
Released on Spotify today, the stripped-down, acoustic cover will presumably be on her long-awaited new album, “The Ride”, which is scheduled to be released in March 2017.

Furtado spoke exclusively with ET Canada recently about her upcoming album, explaining she’s “putting out all kinds of fun tracks,” adding that “I’m really proud of the lyrics, I think they’re really good. I had a lot of fun making it.”
She describes the new album as “pop-alternative, so I guess over the last year I’ve had the chance to share stages with really incredible artists with a lot of credibility… I’m really in this more insular, artistic kind of vibration right now, but it’s very positive, it’s very high-vibe.”
