The London edition of the iTunes Festival is returning once more and they’re bringing a bumper crop of high-profile pop acts along for the ride.
“From the historic stage of the Roundhouse to audiences around the globe, the iTunes Festival brings together the biggest names in music for 30 nights of exhilarating performances,”; proclaims the website for this year’s streamable bash. Earlier this year, the iTunes Festival also expanded into the United States with a series of shows at Austin’s SXSW Festival.

The first wave of announced artists for this year’s instalment include Maroon 5, Pharrell, 5 Seconds of Summer, Beck, Kylie, Calvin Harris, Robert Plant, Sam Smith, Blondie, David Guetta, Jungle, Kasabian, Chrissie Hynde and Calgary’s musical export of the moment Kiesza. Additional acts will be unveiled as the weeks progress.
“The iTunes Festival in London is back with another stunning line-up of world class performers and tremendous new acts,” said Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue. “These live shows capture the heart and soul of iTunes and we love bringing them to our customers in the Roundhouse, as well as to the millions of people watching all over the world for free.”
This year’s slate of performers are also excited about the upcoming festivities.
“The guys and I are excited to be part of this year’s iTunes Festival,”; shared Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. “It’s an amazing Festival and we are really looking forward to performing alongside so many great artists.”
