So here’s the scoop: This September, HBO will air the tour film On The Run, starring everyone’s favourite musical mega-duo, Beyoncé and Jay Z. And judging by the teaser trailer below, it looks pretty darn riveting.
The film will consist of footage from the couple’s September 12 and 13 concerts at the Stade de France in Paris — the only international dates on the tour. And expect a whole lotta music: we’re talking somewhere in the neighbourhood of 40 songs.
HBO has an impressive history with the power couple: it aired Queen Bey’s Life Is But a Dream documentary in 2013. And Jay Z’s art film Picasso Baby debuted on the cable network soon after.
On The Run Tour: Beyonce and Jay Z debuts September 20 on HBO.
