Twenty One Pilots performed last night in Moscow, but their show in the Russian capital had to be ended early when police reportedly caught wind of a bomb threat at the venue.
According to the New York Daily News, the band confirmed the show had been cut short due to a bomb threat in a tweet that has since been deleted.
“Moscow, That was such an amazing show,” wrote the band on its Twitter account. “The police cut our set a couple songs short because of a bomb threat. We are safe. You be safe.”

Fans who were watching via Periscope witnessed the broadcast abruptly stop, with fans who were watching from throughout the world wondering what had taken place.
After deleting the tweet, Twenty One Pilots’ Tyler Joseph posted another tweet about the show, this one making no reference to a bomb threat.
“Josh [Dun] and I can’t believe we get to play our music in Russia. So proud. Moscow was amazing. St. Petersburg tomorrow,” Joseph wrote.
