Aside from Howard Stern’s radio show, few talk shows are as successful at prying juicy stories out of celebrities than Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live”, and that was certainly the case when Michael Buble dropped by the show and shared some dishy Kardashian gossip.
Chatting with Cohen, the B.C.-born crooner recalled making a joke at the expense of Kim Kardashian’s infamous sex tape back in 2011 while appearing on the iHeartRadio Live concert — and then later being blasted by Kris Jenner over it.
“[She] gave me a ton of s**t for a joke I made about Kim Kardashian,” quipped Buble. “I said, ‘Ladies and gentleman, please welcome to the stage Miss Kim Kardashian.’ And so they all thought she was coming. I was joking and she wasn’t. Then I was like, ‘No, I’m just messing with you. That b***h is never coming on my stage. Because she didn’t put me in that video.’ I said, ‘I’m so jealous of Ray J.’ I was putting myself down, but all that her mom read was that I called her a b***h . They weren’t happy about it.”
However, Buble added that he and the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” momager returned to being on good terms once she understood the intent of his joke.
“I had to explain it to her,” added Buble. “She went, ‘Oh, [because] I wondered what we did to you.'”
Quipped Cohen of being Kris Jenner: “It must be exhausting. You have a lot of stuff to clean up.”
