This Victoria’s Secret Outfit Took 450K Swarovski Crystals To Make

Year after year Victoria’s Secret pushes the limits of their runway looks and 2016 is no exception!

The lingerie retailer partnered with Swarovski for the 14th time to create one of the most stunning creations to grace a runway.

The look, which features 450,000 crystals, pairs an embellished bra, crop top, matching panties and a delicate 3,000-strand fringed cape — each strand taking 12 minutes to thread, US Weekly notes.

With each sleeve weighing approximately 10 pounds, the sparkling look certainly isn’t one for the faint-hearted.

And because more is ALWAYS more on the VS runway, designers have paired the shimmering outfit with a sheer pair of over-the-knee Brian Atwood boots that are sure to capture the light as the lingerie design house rolls into Paris for the very first time.

“This year marks the 14th anniversary of Swarovski’s partnership with Victoria’s Secret, and we could not be more excited to continue our collaboration,” Alexander Wellhoefer, Swarovski senior VP, said in a statement. “Throughout our time working together, we’ve sought to push boundaries with innovative use of crystals on the runway and captivate consumers with dazzling retail collections. We cannot wait to showcase what’s in store for December 5.”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs Monday, December 5 at 10 p.m. ET on Global TV.
