With a sequel to “Creed” in the works, Demi Lovato is proving she has what it takes to enter the ring.

The singer traded punches with Rocky himself – Sylvester Stallone – at a gym in Los Angeles on Wednesday, but it was all in the name of fun and a good workout.

According to a video posted by TMZ, the pair entered the ring for a friendly bout that saw the “Confident” singer knock Sly to the mat.  But there’s no hard feelings from the legendary actor who claims he “slipped”.

“I slipped!  I slipped!”, he exclaims.  “I swear it was an accident!”

Unlike a real boxing match, the duo ended their match with a hug.
