Reese Witherspoon Sits Down With Dolly Parton, Talks Being A Working Mom

Reese Witherspoon sits down with her idol, Dolly Parton, for an intimate chat about “growing up, breaking out, and being in charge.”

The 40-year-old Hollywood favourite graces the cover of InStyle’s December issue looking as regal and elegant as ever while draped in diamonds and rocking red lips and nails for the holiday issue.

Inside, the upcoming star of “Big Little Lies” talks about the importance of being a working mother, and the many challenges that come along with the juggling act. “I’m just trying to hold on, trying to make it through.  My older kids help with the little one.  It’s nice to have a big family,” the mother-of-three told InStyle.

She continued, telling the magazine, “my mom worked, and I think it’s good for kids to see women working and being successful.  I think it’s going to make them hard workers because they see that I don’t get much sleep.”

Despite the long hours, Witherspoon insists that “passion” is essential in achieving your dreams. “I love what I do.  I want them to grow up with passion.  This is the one life you get, and you have to live it to the very end.”
