Bethenny Frankel Criticized After Tweeting That Anti-Trump Protests Were ‘Moronic’

On Wednesday night, Anti-Trump protestors took to the streets across the United States in protest of President-Elect Donald Trump.

“Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel did not necessarily agree with the violence of some of the protests, particularly the ones happening in New York, and took to Twitter to air her frustrations – and, in turn, faced backlash from her followers.

Frankel called the protests “moronic” and described it as “bullying.” She also wrongly suggested that Trump had won the state of New York, which Hillary Clinton had, which Frankel later corrected.

Frankel’s Twitter tirade continued and fans of the Skinnygirl mogul challenged her opinions, even though she continued to feel uneasy about the protests.
