Le DeLaria is facing some major backlash after making an Instagram post inciting violence against supporters of President-Elect Donald Trump.

As Fox News reports, the “Orange Is the New Black” star took to Instagram to share a quote from the late Leonard Cohen, who passed away earlier this week, about responding to violence through music. “This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before,” reads the quote.

It was the caption accompanying the quote, however, that raised eyebrows when she wrote: “Or pick up a baseball bat and take out every f***ing republican and independent I see. #f***trump #f***theGOP #f***straightwhiteamerica #f***yourprivilege.”

Comments to the post — which DeLaria has since deleted — criticized her call for violence, which directly contradicted Cohen’s message.

“Why spread violence??? Baseball bats? This makes your argument weak and you are not weak. Strengthen your argument not raise your voice and threaten people with harsh painful words,” wrote one user, while another pointed out: “You’re demonstrating the issues you claim to be preaching against.”

DeLaria’s comment also caught the attention of at least one celebrity Trump supporter, with two-time Oscar nominee James Woods tweeting: “Oh, this is going to be such fun!” adding the insulting hashtag #FattyGoesBatty.
