“We’ve heard a lot from a lot of people about this election so far,” announced Jimmy Kimmel on the Friday edition of his late-night talk show. “We’ve heard from pundits, surrogates, experts and anchors, but we haven’t yet heard from kids. So, this afternoon we went out on the street just outside our theatre to ask children to give us their thoughts on our next president, Donald J. Trump.”
When asked their opinion of the president-elect, the kids questioned were not exactly pro-Trump. “Kinda iffy,” is one kid’s assessment of his feelings on Trump becoming Commander in Chief, adding, “He’s really rude.”
Other kids fell into the same category, with one boy saying “it’s not really comfortable,” while another recreated the “angry face” he made upon learning of Trump’s victory, while yet another kid declared: “I would describe him as an idiot.”
One young boy admitts “I don’t really care, ’cause I’m Canadian, but I don’t like him” — but did concede he was looking forward to Snoop Dogg moving to Canada!
