Numerous celebrities have taken to social media to pay their respects to the late Robin Williams, but funnyman Norm MacDonald laid out an outrageous anecdote in a series of tweets that are as hilarious as they are heartbreaking.
Norm recalls waiting in his dressing room before making his very first standup performance on Late Night With David Letterman, on which Robin Williams (or, as Norm calls him, “the funniest man in the world”;) was also a guest.
Norm describes his unforgettable encounter with the late star in this never-before-told story, unfolding in a series of tweets:
It was my first stand-up appearance on Letterman and I had to follow the funniest man in the world. #RIPRobinWilliams
