Those loud pops you’re hearing are no doubt the sound of hardcore comic-book fans’ heads exploding now that the trailer has arrived to herald next week’s epic DC Comics crossover, which will play out in not two shows, or even three, but four.
Showrunners teased the crossover earlier this year, and although we’ve seen characters cross over from the various CW shows set within the DC universe before, this marks the first time that a single storyline will carry through “Supergirl”, “The Flash”, “Arrow” and “Legends of Tomorrow”.
The action begins on Monday’s edition of “Supergirl”, when a race of malevolent aliens known as the Dominators head to Earth with plans to exterminate humanity and take over the planet for themselves.
Not so fast — we’re betting Kara and her super-powered pals will prevent that from happening. Tune in to Monday’s “Supergirl”, airing at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showcase to see it all begin.
