Don’t monkey around with Bubbles. Rashida Jones revealed she was bitten on the finger by the late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s chimpanzee hard enough to draw blood.

The actress’ father Quincy Jones produced three of Jackson’s albums: “Off The Wall”, “Thriller” and “Bad”.

Recalling the incident in an interview with Desus & Mero, Jones says she was “attacked by Bubbles,” the ape. She explains the trouble started after she tried to discipline him for misbehaving. “I was trying to punish him because he threw something at me,” she says. “And I, like, hit him on the head and said, ‘No!’ because I had seen Michael trying to punish him before.”

But that didn’t quite work out as intended for the actress. “And he looked me dead in the eye,” she says, before miming the chimpanzee biting her hand. “It was, like, white for 10 minutes. It was, like, white and then it was pouring blood.”
