Hello! Thanks for swinging by again for another sparkling fresh edition of This Week In Music Videos, the weekly ET Canada feature that delivers a collection of hot new clips in one easy-to-swallow capsule.

Every Friday we showcase the biggest, boldest and brightest music videos that have tumbled out into the world over the past seven days. Some clips are amazing, a few are amazingly awful and occasionally there’s one or two that features bums being shaken in new and exciting ways.

In case you missed it, we’ve already covered a cavalcade of this week’s exciting new clips during our daily blog coverage. (We placed the latest promos from Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Arcade Fire, PARTYNEXTDOOR and some guy named Michael Jackson on display.) Be sure to give ’em a gander once you’ve wrapped up this week’s roundup.

Troye Sivan – Happy Little Pill Troye Sivan: He’s more than just a Twitter-trending topic that confuses anyone born before 1990. The video for “Happy Little Pill”; provides moodiness, poolside makeout sessions and one expertly trained owl. Here’s hoping that majestic bird appears in all of Troye’s videos from here on out.



Ryan Adams – Gimme Something Good Ryan Adams shares the spotlight with everyone’s favourite Mistress of the Dark in his freshly unveiled promo for “Gimme Something Good”;. Elvira looks every bit the bosomy badass she always does and the former Whiskeytown frontman appears to be going for the “leather jacket Jack White at a Cubs game”; look. (Sound the purely speculative “Is the White vs. Adams beef back on?”; alarm!)



French Montana – Don’t Panic The Fangoria-minded promos just keep on coming. The new video from French Montana (not to be confused with Dutch Wyoming) features a man and a woman being terrorized by a weapon-toting masked posse. Even scarier? Khloé Kardashian is a crossbow-equipped member of the crew. Don’t worry, though. It’s just an elaborate prank on their pals. “GET IT? I STUCK A GUN IN YOUR FACE AND YOU DIDN’T LIKE IT! HA! I BET YOU FEEL SOOOOOOO SILLY RIGHT NOW!”; Y’know, that old practical joke staple. It’s nothing a couple bottles of tacky birthday cake wine can’t wash away.



The Black Keys – Weight of Love (NSFW) Do you feel like you’re stuck in a rut? Maybe joining a cult is just the exciting life curveball you’ve been looking for. The cult featured in the new Black Keys video promises corn, labour and supermodel Lara Stone as your leader. No word on if they have a dental plan.

DJ Earworm – Summermash ’14 Has this summer felt like one big sunkissed blur? Why not relive those moments courtesy of DJ Earworm’s summer mashup that also feels like one big sunkissed blur. It’s the place where Calvin Harris, Charli XCX and 5 Seconds of Summer can all chill out together within some snug confines.

Röyksopp & Robyn – Monument Robyn’s hair appears to be on loan from Canadian minor hockey circa 1991.

Dead Soft – Everything (NSFW Language) Vancouver pop-rock vendors Dead Soft make a big ol’ mess of things in their brand new clip for “Everything”;. Come for the sublime tune, stick around for head shaving and bring a mop for when things wrap up.
