Another week, another not-so-great obstacle for Justin Bieber. This time around, the Canadian pop phenom — and his bodyguard — is being sued for assault.

The incident dates back to last November, when the Biebs went cliff jumping in Hawaii. A paparazzi photographer named Aja Oxman claims Justin ordered his bodyguard to attack him after he snapped a pic of the young singer.

According to Oxman, Justin told his bodyguard, Dwayne Patterson, “Go get his memory card and do whatever you have to do to get that card.”; Patterson then allegedly placed Oxman in a choke hold, slammed him onto the hood of a car, and destroyed his camera equipment.   He was subsequently arrested for 3rd degree assault and 4th degree criminal property damage.

Oxman is now seeking damages for assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence.
