Justin Bieber Covers Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car’ At KIIS FM Jingle Ball

Justin Bieber was among the performers at Friday night’s KIIS FM Jingle Ball at L.A.’s Staples Center, and in addition to performing an array of his hits — “Where Are Ü Now,” “Boyfriend,” “Company,” “What Do You Mean,” “Let Me Love You,” “Sorry,” and “Love Yourself” — he also showed fans his folkier side.

Accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, 22-year-old Bieber slowed things down for a cover of “Fast Car”, Tracy Chapman’s wistful ballad that topped the charts back in 1988 (for those doing the math, yes, the song is older than Bieber is).
