More news is emerging from Madonna’s performance at her Malawi fundraiser, held Friday night at Art Basel in Miami, including a few timely shots at President-Elect Donald Trump.
An avid Hillary Clinton supporter — she once jokingly offered sexual favours to anyone who cast their vote for the former Secretary of State — Madonna regaled the audience at the fundraiser with a story about how she once wound up in Trump’s bed (it was for a photo shoot, she said, pointing out that Trump wasn’t even there at the time).
That didn’t prevent her from mocking the bombastic billionaire’s cheap sheets. “They won’t be Egyptian cotton because we all know how he feels about Muslims, don’t we?” she said, with Associated Press reporting that some members of the audience gasped.

Madonna also had a not-so-hidden message when she sang a cover version of Britney Spears’ hit “Toxic” while images of Trump were displayed on a screen behind her.
She also spoke out about the situation taking place at Standing Rock, admitting she’s appalled by the treatment of Native Americans.
“It just really makes me feel ashamed, ashamed to be an American,” she said, “ashamed to be a human being really.”
