Donald Trump has made it clear he’s no fan of Alec Baldwin’s hilariously over-the-top impression of the president-elect on “Saturday Night Live”, and took to Twitter once again to criticize Baldwin and the show.
In this week’s cold open, Baldwin mocked Trump’s recent retweeting of a teenager’s Twitter comments, which brought on a stern rebuke on Twitter — with Trump apparently not grasping the irony of tweeting about a sketch that makes fun of his tweeting.
Following Trump’s critique, Baldwin issued a reply and offered a deal to the 45th president of the United States: “Release your tax returns and I’ll stop. Ha.”
The Twitterverse responded to Baldwin’s taunt, hoping that Trump doesn’t release his tax returns in order to ensure Baldwin’s impression remains a staple on “SNL”.
