Terri Clark is the latest star to chat with ET Canada at the legendary Toronto recording studio. The Juno Award-winning country artist played some tunes and spoke with our Natasha Gargiulo just ahead of the release of her brand new album Some Songs. The “Girls Lie Too”; songstress admits that she didn’t always know that this would be the journey she’d embark on.
“I never imagined that this would have gone this far when I first picked up a guitar when I was little,“; shared Terri in her chat with ET Canada. “My mom and I had this divine plan, that when I graduated from high school, she was gonna take me to Nashville and that’s exactly what she did. And some people thought we were out of our minds, you know.“
It’s a good thing they followed through on that “divine plan.”; Terri’s been a major force in the world of country, racking up hit recordings and earning her fair share of award show hardware. On September 2, the Canadian country dynamo will be releasing her tenth studio album. It’s a full-length that Terri’s put a lot of work into.
“It’s taken a long time to make this album,”; explained the singer. “I think that just making a tenth album is a celebration of itself. You know we all want that long career when we get started.”;
