Anna Silk has a message for all you Lost Girl fae-natics out there, revealing that the series’ upcoming fifth season will be its last.
However, there’s a silver lining: the season has been super-sized, with 16 episodes instead of the originally planned 13, and will be split in two eight-episode segments to provide a fitting conclusion to the tale of sexy succubus Bo. In the episodes leading up to the series finale, Bo will travel to hell and back in order to to save the people she loves. In the process, however, she sets off an explosive series of events that will play out in the series’ final episodes.
“It’s been an absolute honour playing Bo,”; says Anna, “and I’m looking forward to seeing where her personal journey leads her this season.”;
“The massive popularity of Lost Girl is a testament to the inventive and hard-working team at Prodigy Pictures, the magnetic and talented cast and the most devoted and passionate fan base in Canadian television,” said Barbara Williams, Senior Vice President, Content, Shaw Media in a statement. “We’re so proud that Showcase has been the home to this landmark series and we look forward to sharing these final 16 episodes with the show’s fans.”
The first of these final episodes will debut Sunday, Dec. 7 on Showcase. If you need to catch up, you can watch full episodes of season four online.
