Another concert tour gets derailed as 2016 comes to a close, with Meghan Trainor joining the long list of stars cancelling tour dates after taking ill.
Trainor has cancelled all of her remaining 2016 tour dates after being put on “strict vocal rest” by her doctor, E! News first reported. The “All About That Base” singer regrettably informed her fans of the cancellation on Instagram this week, explaining: “I posted last week that I wasn’t feeling great, but was powering through the best that I could. Unfortunately, I am not feeling any better and after leaving the doctor today, I have been put on strict vocal rest for the next two weeks.”
Trainor, 22, was just as heartbroken as her fans. “This absolutely kills me because I was so excited to see all of you on the road,” she said. “I’m going to go home and rest so I can get back to see you all as soon as I can. I love you so much and am so appreciative of your love and support that you constantly show me. You mean everything to me. Can’t wait to see you in 2017!”

She had been scheduled to perform in a series of holiday related Christmas concerts in Connecticut, New York City, Washington, Atlanta and Florida.
