Piers Morgan is vehemently defending his controversial comments about Madonna and Lady Gaga’s alleged Post Traumatic Stress Disorder claims.
Both musicians have claimed to have been sexually assaulted in the past, with Gaga recently penning a powerful letter about her mental health problems. She described her battles with PTSD as a “daily effort” and urged others to “overcome their shame.”
The outspoken Morgan focused his aim on the two celebrities on Twitter and has received plenty of heat for his skepticism of the two stars’ rape allegations, even calling PTSD “the latest celebrity accessory.”

Gaga offered a classy response to Morgan’s series of tweets, by tweeting that she does in fact suffer from PTSD and wishes the best to any member of Morgan’s family battling PTSD:

Jacobs then offered words of advice to her fellow survivors: “To all my sisters reading this, ignore him. Lady Gaga and Madonna are beacons of light for us to follow and draw inspiration from. Regardless of the ongoing symptoms of what we have experienced, we don’t need to feel broken or fragile. We can move on and be free, we can rebuild our lives in the vision we want, we can live reconnected.”
Morgan later addressed the article, stating:
