The Talk will return next Monday with its fifth season, and viewers can expect the daytime chatfest to become bolder and even more outrageous than ever.
The festivities kick off on Monday, Sept. 8 to launch a two-week premiere event which will challenge hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood to face their worst fears and phobias and see if they will be able to conquer them, with the women taking on extreme dares throughout the week.
The following week, the hosts will share their most intimate secrets. Last season, the women unveiled such revelations as Sharon Osbourne’s one-night stand with Jay Leno and Julie Chen’s admission that she had plastic surgery early in her career in order to look “less Asian.”;
In addition, for the first time ever the hosts will live-tweet throughout the two-week premiere event. Meanwhile, fans will have the opportunity to use Instagram to upload photos and videos using the #EverybodyTalks hashtag — which may appear on the show.
As usual, an array of top-tier celebrity guests will be stopping by, including Academy Award winners Morgan Freeman and Jane Fonda, comic George Lopez, Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore (who’ll be reprising his soap character on The Young and the Restless), Judge Judy, Blue Bloods” Tom Selleck comic Wanda Sykes, Grammy-winner Smokey Robinson, and former NFL star Tony Gonzalez.
The new season of The Talk begins Monday, Sept. 8 on Global.
